The neighbourhood of Pleasant View is part of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.
Transportation
The car is usually the favoured mode of transportation in this part of Hamilton. It is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 6, from any home in Pleasant View, and finding a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, the transit system in this part of the city is not very practical. The bike is a rather poor mode of transportation in Pleasant View as bicycling is made arduous by the often hilly topography, and the bicycling network is not very extensive. Pleasant View is also not very well-suited for people who travel by walking since running daily errands is impractical without a vehicle.
Services
Pleasant View does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long stroll away. Regarding eating, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in Pleasant View to purchase their groceries as pedestrians.
Character
Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced environment will enjoy Pleasant View. Pleasant View is very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic close to Highway 6. Green spaces aren't well-situated, which results in them being occasionally hard to access from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to discover.
