Transportation

Regardless of the means of transportation, it is fairly straightforward to travel in Downtown. Downtown is transit friendly due to Guelph Central on the Kitchener, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood will also appeal to people who want to reside in a walkable community as it is fairly walkable; many common errands can be run without needing a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close by. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in Downtown.

Services

Parents and their children will appreciate the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, houses for sale in Downtown. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools. With regards to food, it is usually feasible for home buyers in Downtown to purchase groceries as pedestrians.
