Transportation

Malden is very car friendly. Many homes for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 401, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be very hard in Malden due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. Bicycling is convenient in Malden as the cycling network is good, and bike riders do not encounter significant slopes. It is impractical for people travelling by foot to get around in Malden since few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle.
