Transportation

Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in Forest Glade. Most real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, such as E C Row Expressway, and parking is easy. On the other hand, the public transit in Forest Glade is not very convenient. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. Getting around by bicycle is convenient in Forest Glade because there are few hills to challenge cyclists. However, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Windsor, although meeting daily needs is easy without the use of a car.

Services

It is straightforward to reach the closest supermarket without a vehicle from any home in Forest Glade. Residents are served by over 50 restaurants and coffee shops as well. With respect to education, it is a short stroll to access daycares and primary schools from most homes for sale in Forest Glade. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of Windsor.

Character

The character of Forest Glade is exemplified by its calm ambience. A large number of locations within the neighbourhood have good access to parks, including Derwent and Twin Oaks, since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to discover. This part of Windsor is also great for those who like quiet areas, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour closer to E C Row Expressway or one of the railway lines.

Housing

Most of the housing growth in Forest Glade took place in the 1960s and 1970s.
