The neighbourhood of York Mills is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

With Oriole Station on the Richmond Hill Line, and a few nearby bus lines, the public transit service in York Mills is reasonably good. On the other hand, the bicycle is a rather limited means of transportation in this part of Toronto as the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Travelling by foot in York Mills is not very popular, despite the fact that many common errands can be run without the use of a car. However, getting around by car is especially convenient in York Mills. It is straightforward to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 401, are very easy to drive to from any location in this part of the city.
