Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is quite easy to move around in Victoria VIllage. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are reasonably suitable for walking; many daily needs can be met on foot. However, Victoria VIllage is not very bike-friendly since the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited, and bike riders encounter a significant amount of hills. Owing to a few nearby bus lines, commuting by public transit is easy in this neighbourhood. The preferred approach to get around in this neighbourhood is very often driving. It is easy to find a place to park, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway, such as Don Valley Parkway, from any location in this neighbourhood.

Services

It is easy to access the closest supermarket on foot in this part of Toronto. Likewise, Victoria VIllage is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and property owners are served by a few cafes as well. With regards to education, parents and their children will value that no matter where their home is situated in this neighbourhood, daycares and schools are close by.

Character

The character of Victoria VIllage is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. There is a fair amount of greenery in this part of Toronto; there are a few green spaces close by for residents to discover, such as Moccasin Trail Park and Charles Sauriol Conservation Area, making them very easy to get to. Furthermore, residents will find that many tree-lined streets are present. This part of Toronto is reasonably quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - however some parts can be quite noisy, especially near Don Valley Parkway or one of the railway lines.

Housing

About 60% of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home and 40% are owners.
