Transportation

Lawrence Heights permits homeowners to get around using a variety of methods of transportation. The excellent public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle by reason of Yorkdale Station on the Yonge - University Line, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. Lawrence Heights is also quite conducive to walking; carrying out daily needs is easy by walking, and various businesses are nearby. Although the area is reasonably flat, Lawrence Heights is not very suited for biking because there are very few bike lanes.

Services

Daycares and schools are straightforward to access on foot from most houses for sale in this part of the city. With respect to food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away in this area. Moreover, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe in close proximity, for instance on Dufferin Street. It is also very convenient to get to a selection of clothing stores on foot.

Character

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Lawrence Heights. To be more precise, it is very easy to reach public green spaces since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to check out. Finally, this neighbourhood remains relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians, although those who are around Highway 401 or Allen Expressway may experience more noise.
