Transportation

This part of the city provides property owners with the choice between several means of transportation. Travelling on foot is very feasible for house buyers in Casa Loma; running daily errands is very easy by walking, and many businesses are reasonably close by. Casa Loma is also a very pleasant part of Toronto for cyclists. In particular, there are a fair number of bike lanes. Homeowners can count on public transit to travel in Casa Loma. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby. Driving is also a reasonably good transportation option in Casa Loma because it is typically not too bothersome to park.

Casa Loma is quiet, as the streets tend to be reasonably tranquil, however noise can be bothersome near the railway line. The greenery in this part of Toronto is quite prominent; it is very easy to access green spaces from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to enjoy. Residents will also find that there are numerous tree-lined streets.

Housing

Large apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing about one third of dwellings in Casa Loma, and the remaining homes are mainly small apartment buildings, single detached homes, and townhouses.
