Concerning education, it is a rather short walk to access both primary and secondary schools from any location in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, it can be challenging to get to daycares as a pedestrian.

Character

One of the highlights of Vinegar Hill is its great variety of green spaces. Parks are very well-situated and there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore, which makes it very easy to reach them. As there are very few people out and about on the streets, this part of the city is relatively quiet.

Housing

In Vinegar Hill, around two thirds of dwellings are single detached homes, while duplexes make up most of the remaining housing stock. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 10% are renters.
