Transportation

This neighbourhood will appeal to property owners that appreciate several methods of transportation. Home buyers can depend on public transit to navigate Uplands. For example, the closest rapid transit station, such as Yonge / Royal Orchard, Yonge / Centre and Bathurst / Atkinson with access to the Viva Blue and Viva Orange, is usually very close from the majority of homes in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Most homes for sale in this part of Vaughan are located in areas that are also reasonably well-suited for those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Uplands is not particularly conducive to cycling as Uplands has a sometimes poor bicycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. Nonetheless, riding a bike is more feasible in certain sectors than others.
