Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely convenient part of Oakville for moving around by car. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, Southwest Oakville is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Travelling by foot is not very popular in Southwest Oakville, although meeting daily needs is easy. However, the bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this part of Oakville.

Services

Schools and daycares are straightforward to access on foot from anywhere in Southwest Oakville. Residents have the option of public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level. When it comes to food, accessing the nearest grocery store by walking is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in this neighbourhood. Residents of Southwest Oakville can enjoy a few restaurants as well.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Southwest Oakville. Green spaces, like T. A. Blakelock Secondary School and Coronation Park, are especially well-distributed and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to relax in, making it easy to access them. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
