Sheridan Park

Sheridan Park is a neighbourhood within Mississauga, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best approach to navigate Sheridan Park is usually a car. Many homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, residents using public transit may have limited options in Sheridan Park by reason of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Sheridan Park is not very amenable to biking because the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of slopes. Thankfully, riding a bike is more feasible in some sectors than others. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also not very convenient for those who travel by foot because running common errands is occasionally challenging by walking.

Services

In this part of Mississauga, parents and their children will generally be able to access schools and daycares on foot. When it comes to eating, in all but a limited number of cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries. Nonetheless, pharmacies are typically easy to reach on foot and provide some staple foods.

Character

A highlight of Sheridan Park is its very good selection of green spaces. It is very easy to reach green spaces from many locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out. Lastly, as there are very few people out and about on the streets, this part of Mississauga is relatively quiet.

Housing

The predominant housing types in Sheridan Park are single detached homes and row houses. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood occurred in the 1960s and 1970s. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Roughly 95% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and renters make up the remainder.
