This neighbourhood will also attract active home buyers because it is reasonably conducive to those who travel by foot; many daily needs can be carried out without needing to resort to a vehicle. Although bicycling is more feasible in some sectors than others, Shawnee Park is not especially conducive to cycling because the terrain is not particularly flat, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

To be more precise, it is easy to get to public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover. Housing

Homeowners occupy about 80% of the properties in Shawnee Park and 20% are occupied by renters. In this part of Toronto, the majority of dwellings are townhouses, whereas the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. This area experienced its biggest building boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available housing stock is from this era.
