Transportation

This neighbourhood will appeal to homeowners that use a diversity of means of transportation. Owing to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and about 10 nearby bus lines, the public transit network in North Riverdale is very convenient. Active property owners will also welcome the especially walk-friendly nature of this neighbourhood; many day-to-day needs are very easy to meet without needing to resort to a car, and various businesses are reasonably close by. North Riverdale is a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for bike riders. More precisely, the cycling network is fairly good, and bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away.

In North Riverdale, families will almost always be able to reach daycares and schools on foot. Parents have the option of public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level.
