Transportation

A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are well-suited for those who prefer to get around on foot; many daily needs can be met without a car. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in Markville. Markville is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to drive to from any home in Markville, and it is convenient to come across a place to park. However, Markville is not particularly transit friendly. Nonetheless, the closest train station, including the Centennial with access to the Stouffville, is commonly a short distance away from the bulk of houses in the neighbourhood. There is Hwy 7 / Bullock and Hwy 7 / McCowan on the Viva Purple. There are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses.
