Malvern is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood enables home buyers to move around using a variety of means of transportation. Owing to about 10 nearby bus lines, this area features reasonably good transit service. Getting around as a pedestrian is also feasible for house buyers in Malvern, although day-to-day errands are occasionally difficult to run without a car. This part of the city is not particularly appropriate for biking because Malvern has rather poor cycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of elevation changes.

Services

Parents and their kids will find that no matter where their house is situated in this part of the city, daycares and schools are close by. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. With respect to food, it is very easy to access the closest supermarket without the use of a car from anywhere in Malvern. Public green spaces, including East Highland Creek Watercourse and Burrows Hall Park, are very well-distributed and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to visit, making them very easy to get to.

In Malvern, roughly one quarter of dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest of the houses are mainly large apartment buildings. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around 70% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while renters occupy the remainder. About 40% of homes in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s.
