Transportation

Ledbury Park will draw property owners that use a variety of methods of transportation. Thanks to about 10 nearby bus lines, the public transit service in Ledbury Park is fairly good. It is also easy for people walking to move around in Ledbury Park; many day-to-day needs are convenient to carry out without the use of a car, and numerous businesses are quite close by. This part of Toronto is not particularly cycling-friendly because there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Services

Parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their house is situated in Ledbury Park, schools and daycares are close by. At the primary level, both public and private schools can be found. As far as food is concerned, both general and specialty grocery stores are ordinarily accessible within a rather short walk from anywhere in Ledbury Park. There are approximately 10 supermarkets in this part of Toronto, and the best variety can be found on streets such as Bathurst Street. This neighbourhood is also reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially close to Highway 401.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing about 60% of dwellings in Ledbury Park, while large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. About one quarter of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed following the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1960s.
