Transportation

Lansing-Westgate provides home buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. Homeowners can rely on public transit to navigate Lansing-Westgate by reason of 2 rapid transit stations (Sheppard-Yonge Station - Northbound Platform and Sheppard-Yonge Station - Southbound Platform) with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and around 20 nearby bus lines. This part of the city will also attract house buyers who want to be in a walkable area since it is reasonably walkable; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are fairly close by. Lansing-Westgate is rather amenable to biking.

Services

Both general and specialty grocery stores are typically accessible within a rather short walk from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. This neighbourhood has many sections that are very serene and quiet; however other spots can be noisy, especially near Highway 401.
