Transportation

The bike is a good mode of transportation in Lakeview. Physically active house buyers will also appreciate the quite pedestrian-friendly nature of Lakeview; many common errands can be run on foot. The public transit service in this part of Mississauga is not especially frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. In contrast, driving is usually the favoured transportation option in this part of the city. It is very easy to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any home in this neighbourhood.

Services

Parents and their children will find that wherever their property is located in Lakeview, schools and daycares are nearby. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. Regarding eating, it is very easy to reach the nearest supermarket on foot in Lakeview. There are also around 20 restaurants and cafes in this part of Mississauga.

Character

The character of Lakeview is exemplified by its relaxed environment. Greenery is quite prominent in this area as there are many tree-lined streets. There are about 40 public green spaces nearby for residents to check out, including Serson Park and Not Yet Named *(South of Lakeshore Rd E and Dixie Rd), and they are especially well-situated, making it easy to access them. This part of Mississauga is quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to Queen Elizabeth Way or the railway line.
