The neighbourhood of Kingsview Village can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Owing to a few nearby bus lines, the reasonably good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle. On the other hand, this part of the city is not very amenable to biking as the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a fair number of slopes. Nevertheless, some enjoyable areas for bicycling exist. Walking is not very popular in this part of Toronto, even though many day-to-day needs can be met by walking. In contrast, the preferred method to move around in Kingsview Village is very often a car. It is a short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 409, from any location in Kingsview Village, and parking is quite easy.

Services

It is often an option for house buyers in this part of the city to buy their groceries by walking. In addition, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner. With respect to education, primary schools and daycares are easy to walk to from most properties for sale in Kingsview Village. In contrast, there are only a limited number of high schools and thus they can be an extended walk away.

Character

There is a wide selection of green spaces in Kingsview Village. More specifically, a large number of locations within the neighbourhood have good access to public green spaces, such as Crawford - Jones Memorial Park, since there are a few of them close by for residents to enjoy. Thanks to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, this part of Toronto is relatively quiet, although there can be higher levels of noise for those who are near Highway 409, Highway 401 or the railway line.

In Kingsview Village, most buildings are large apartment buildings, while single detached homes make up most of the remaining housing stock. This area also has a good variety of unit sizes - it is quite easy to find homes ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The split between renters and homeowners is about even. Most homes in this part of Toronto were built in the 1960s and 1970s, during its biggest building boom.
