Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Humbermede is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is straightforward to move around in Humbermede. The public transit service in Humbermede is reasonably good. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Humbermede is also appropriate for biking. Walking in this part of the city is not very popular, although many common errands can be run without the use of a car. However, Humbermede is an extraordinarily good part of Toronto for moving around by car. The majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 400, and it is easy to park.

Services

Schools and daycares are convenient to reach on foot from most houses for sale in Humbermede. With respect to food, getting to the closest grocery store by walking is possible for some, but not all, property owners in Humbermede. There are also a few choices for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity.

Character

There is a wonderful selection of green spaces in Humbermede. More specifically, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to relax in and they are very well-located, making it very easy to get to them. At the same time, the tree canopy coverage for many streets is quite bad. Finally, this part of the city remains relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians, although there can be higher levels of noise for those who are around Highway 400 or the railway line.
