This neighbourhood will appeal to physically active people since it is quite conducive to walking; many common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are close by. Cycling is also convenient in Harwood. The public transit system in this part of the city is very good. In particular, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This neighbourhood is also car friendly. Finding a place to park is generally easy.

Services

Schools and daycares are easy to reach on foot from most houses for sale in Harwood. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. With regards to food, it is easy to access both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood.
