Transportation

Moving around by car is especially convenient in this part of Oakville. It is straightforward to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, from anywhere in Glenorchy. However, the public transit network in this neighbourhood is not very practical. Nevertheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically a short walk away. Even though some bicycling-friendly areas exist, Glenorchy is not especially suited for biking because there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very convenient for walking as few common errands can be run on foot.

It is a reasonably short walk to reach primary schools from any location in Glenorchy. However, there are no high schools in this part of the town.
