Transportation

Garden District does not require driving because various other modes of transportation are available. This area has a great public transit system by reason of a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and a few nearby bus lines. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also especially well-suited for walking; most common errands can be run without having to use a car, and there are also innumerable businesses in proximity. Cycling is reasonably popular in Garden District since there are a fair number of bike lanes, and a bike share station is generally located nearby.

Housing
