Transportation

The car is very often the best method to move around in Esquesing. Coming across a place to park is generally easy. In contrast, this neighbourhood is not a very pleasant part of Milton for getting around by public transit. Even though bicycling is reasonably commonplace, Esquesing is not especially cycling-friendly because there are very few bike lanes, and the terrain is not particularly flat. It is also very inconvenient for people walking to get around in this neighbourhood because most daily needs are difficult to carry out by walking.

Services

Esquesing does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, it can be very difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian. When it comes to eating, a vehicle is almost always needed in Esquesing to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

Esquesing is very quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Green spaces are sparse, which results in them being rather difficult to reach from numerous locations within Esquesing. Despite that, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.

Housing

In Esquesing, roughly three quarters of buildings are single detached homes, and the remaining houses are mainly small apartment buildings. This part of Milton offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 60% of the dwellings in Esquesing while the remainder are rented. Roughly one third of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
