Dufferin Grove

The neighbourhood of Dufferin Grove is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Property owners in this part of the city benefit from several options to travel without the need for a car. This neighbourhood is very convenient for those who travel by foot; meeting daily needs is especially convenient by walking, and many businesses of different types can be found as well. Bicycling is very popular in this part of the city as the bicycling network is well-developed, and bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away. Thanks to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and approximately 10 nearby bus lines, the excellent public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many. On the other hand, this area is not an especially convenient part of Toronto for getting around by car because most properties for sale are an occasionally long drive from the nearest highway, and it is difficult to park.

Services

It is a very short walk to reach daycares and schools from anywhere in Dufferin Grove. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. In terms of food, it is usually possible for property owners in Dufferin Grove to shop for general and specialty groceries by walking. The greenery in this neighbourhood is quite prominent as there are numerous tree-lined streets. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to discover, including Dufferin Grove Park, and they are especially well-distributed, which makes it very easy to access them.

The majority of buildings are small apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in Dufferin Grove, while the rest are mainly large apartment buildings.
