Transportation

This part of Toronto will attract homeowners that appreciate several means of transportation. Bayview Village is a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for getting around by public transit owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Sheppard Line, and a few nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood is also reasonably well-suited for walking; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This area is quite conducive to biking.

Services

It is easy to get to the closest supermarket by walking from anywhere in Bayview Village. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities, and a small selection of cafes can be found as well. It is also a rather short distance to a good variety of clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, in this area, families will typically be able to get to primary schools and daycares by walking. In contrast, Bayview Village does not have any high schools.

Character

Bayview Village is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Most areas in this part of the city are quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case close to Highway 401 or the railway line. Lastly, this neighbourhood also features a large amount of greenery as there are a lot of tree-lined streets. Most locations in the neighbourhood have good access to public green spaces, such as Bayview Village Park and East Don Parkland, since there are around 40 of them nearby for residents to explore.
