West End is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is convenient for people walking to navigate this part of Thunder Bay; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, West End is not especially conducive to cycling since there are few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists. The public transit network in West End is not very convenient. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, driving is a fairly good transportation option in West End. It is convenient to access a parking spot, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway.

It is easy to get to the nearest grocery store by walking in West End. Residents of this area can enjoy a few restaurants as well. When it comes to education, parents and their children will find that no matter where their house is located in West End, daycares and schools are close by.
