The community of Val Caron is part of the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

Transportation

Val Caron is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be challenging in this community as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Although the area is reasonably flat, it is sometimes challenging to commute by bicycle in Val Caron because the cycling network is rather poor. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also not very conducive to walking since meeting daily needs is difficult on foot.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to reach on foot from most homes for sale in this community. In contrast, daycares are not especially plentiful and therefore may require an extended walk to get to. Regarding eating, accessing the nearest supermarket on foot is feasible for some, but not all, home buyers in Val Caron.
