The community of Garson is situated within the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

Driving is a very good transportation option in Garson. Parking is quite easy. However, public transit users may have few choices in Garson as a result of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Garson is not very bike-friendly since the terrain is not particularly flat, and the bicycling network is rather poor. Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are also not very conducive to walking as most daily needs are inconvenient to carry out without having to resort to a car.
