Blezard Valley

Part of the Greater Sudbury metropolitan area, Blezard Valley is a community within Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Blezard Valley. Parking is easy. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is challenging in this part of the city. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and the closest bus stop is typically very close by. Many of the houses for sale in this part of Greater Sudbury are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who like to get around on foot since very few common errands can be run without a car. Blezard Valley is also not particularly cycling-friendly as there are very few bike lanes. Nonetheless, the topography is fairly flat.

Services

The closest supermarket in Blezard Valley is generally only a short walk away. A limited selection of restaurants can be found in this part of Greater Sudbury as well. In terms of education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Blezard Valley.

Character

Blezard Valley is a very good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm environment. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, making it easy to get to them. This community is also very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic.

Housing

Roughly 30% of properties in Blezard Valley were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1990s. Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in this community. Roughly 85% of the units in the community are occupied by homeowners and 15% are rented. This community offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
