The neighbourhood of Otonabee is part of the city of Peterborough, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area.

Transportation

Otonabee is particularly car friendly. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot, and many real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 7 & 115. On the other hand, the public transit service in Otonabee is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically around the corner. This area is not very convenient for those who get around as pedestrians as running daily errands is sometimes challenging without a vehicle. Otonabee is also not especially cycling-friendly because there are a fair number of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.
