The neighbourhood of Lansdowne is part of the city of Peterborough, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area.

Transportation

Lansdowne is an extraordinarily convenient part of Peterborough for travelling by car. It is very convenient to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 7 & 115, from anywhere in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, Lansdowne is not an especially pleasant part of Peterborough for getting around by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Lansdowne is not particularly bicycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and the topography is not particularly flat. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not particularly conducive to people who travel by walking as many daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet without a car.

Services

Families will value that wherever their property is situated in this part of the city, daycares and schools are close by.
