Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in Coldsprings. Parking is generally easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7 & 115. In contrast, residents using public transit may find limited options in this area as a result of the infrequent service. Coldsprings is not very conducive to cycling because there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. It is also inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in this part of the city because meeting daily needs is occasionally difficult on foot.

Character

Coldsprings offers a fairly good selection of green spaces to enjoy. Although the neighbourhood does not contain any green spaces, parks are scarce in nearby neighbourhoods, making it easy to get to them. This area is a wonderful area for those who aren't bothered by a bit of noise, since traffic can occasionally be loud during busier hours of the day.

Housing

Around 60% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the remainder are renters. In this part of Peterborough, about half of buildings are single detached homes, but townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant building boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
