The neighbourhood of Centennial is part of the city of Oshawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area.

Transportation

House buyers who appreciate being able to walk everywhere will enjoy the moderately pedestrian-friendly character of this area; many common errands can be run without the use of a car. It is also easy to commute by bicycle in this area. The transit network in Centennial is fairly poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner. However, this part of the city is fairly car friendly. Coming across a place to park is easy.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are very easy to access without a vehicle from anywhere in this part of Oshawa. On the other hand, there are only a limited number of high schools and consequently they can be an extended stroll away. Parents are served by public and private elementary schools. With regards to eating, it is convenient to access the closest supermarket without needing to get in a car in Centennial.
