Old Hamilton is a former municipality within Hamilton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is reasonably straightforward to travel in Old Hamilton. The reasonably good transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. Property owners profit from the West Harbour and Hamilton Go Centre on the Lakeshore West. House owners benefit from approximately 40 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Old Hamilton will also draw home buyers who appreciate being able to walk everywhere since it is moderately well-suited to getting around on foot; running daily errands is convenient without needing a car, and various businesses are fairly close by. People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Old Hamilton. There are over 250 public green spaces close by for residents to visit, such as William McCulloch Park and Westdale North Open Space, which makes it very easy to reach them. This part of the city is also quiet, as the streets tend to be tranquil - however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to Red Hill Valley Parkway, Lincoln M Alexander Parkway, one of the railway lines or the airport (Hamilton (General Hospital) Heliport).
