The neighbourhood of Mountview is part of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured method of transportation in Mountview is very often driving. It is easy to park, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of the city. However, Mountview is not an especially pleasant part of Hamilton for getting around by public transit. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically very close by. Walking is not particularly practical for residents in this area as few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. Biking is also at times difficult in Mountview because there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

Parents and their kids will value that wherever their home is located in Mountview, schools and daycares are nearby. Regarding eating, property owners in this part of Hamilton almost always have to use a car to do groceries.
