Part of the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Garner is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in this area. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 403. However, the public transit network in this part of Hamilton is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually close by. Travelling by bicycle is occasionally challenging in Garner because there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Nonetheless, some enjoyable sectors for cycling exist. It is also impractical for people walking to get around in this part of Hamilton because meeting daily needs is challenging on foot.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required to purchase groceries. There are a few restaurants in this neighbourhood. With regards to education, in this area, parents and their kids will commonly be able to reach primary schools by walking. In contrast, Garner does not have any high schools.

Character
