Part of the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Book is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the city. It is very easy to find a place to park, and most homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, residents using public transit may experience limited choices in Book by reason of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. Book is not very convenient for those who prefer to get around on foot since running daily errands is challenging without a car. The bike is a rather poor method of transportation in this area because this part of the city has quite poor bicycling infrastructure. Nonetheless, the topography is flat.

Services

Home buyers in Book almost always have to rely on a vehicle to travel to the nearest supermarket. There are a few restaurants in Book. As far as education is concerned, primary schools tend to be an extended stroll away, and there are no high schools in Book.
