Old University is a neighbourhood within Guelph, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Guelph metropolitan area.

Transportation

Traveling on foot is fairly feasible for home buyers in this neighbourhood; many common errands can be run without a vehicle. The bicycle is a good means of transportation in Old University. Old University is not an especially pleasant part of Guelph for getting around by public transit. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. However, driving is usually the favoured approach to navigate this neighbourhood. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway.

Services

Families will value that wherever their home is situated in Old University, daycares and primary schools are nearby. In contrast, families may find it challenging for their schoolchildren to reach high schools by walking. At the primary level, both public and private schools can be found. In terms of food, getting to the closest grocery store by walking is an option for some, but not all, property owners in this area. Conversely, this part of Guelph is a good place in which to go out to eat.
