Tilbury is a neighbourhood within Chatham-Kent, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Chatham-Kent metropolitan area.

Transportation

Tilbury is an extremely good part of Chatham-Kent for moving around by car. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from any home in Tilbury, and parking is generally easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in Tilbury is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. It is occasionally difficult to get around by bicycle in Tilbury since the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of hills. Tilbury is also not particularly suitable for people who prefer to get around as pedestrians because running daily errands is sometimes challenging without a vehicle.
