Orono is a neighbourhood within Clarington, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in Orono. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 35 & 115, are especially easy to reach from anywhere in Orono. In contrast, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. Nonetheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually around the corner. Orono is not very convenient for those who prefer to travel on foot since running common errands is difficult without needing a car.
