Transportation

The preferred way to move around in this area is very often driving. Parking is quite easy, and it is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 401, from any location in this part of the city. In contrast, the public transit service in Riverside is not very frequent. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Getting around on foot is not very popular in this area, although running common errands is easy without needing a car. In contrast, this part of Cambridge is appropriate for cycling.

Services

Families will welcome that no matter where their home is situated in Riverside, daycares and primary schools are close by. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. In terms of eating, some home buyers in Riverside may be able to access the closest supermarket as pedestrians, while others will have to use a vehicle. A small number of restaurants are available in this part of Cambridge as well.

Character

The character of Riverside is exemplified by its calm ambience.
