Located within the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Parkway Belt Industrial Area is a neighbourhood in Brampton, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is very often the preferred method of transportation in this area. It is especially convenient to park, and the city block layout is fairly conducive to driving. Owing to a few nearby bus lines, this part of the city also benefits from a good transit network. Traveling on foot is not very feasible for house buyers in this neighbourhood as meeting day-to-day needs is sometimes difficult without needing a vehicle. Despite the fact that a few pleasant pockets for cycling can be found, and the terrain is moderately flat, the bike is a somewhat poor method of transportation in Parkway Belt Industrial Area since this part of the city has quite bad bicycling infrastructure.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. Moreover, there are only a limited number of daycares and accordingly they can be an extended distance away. Parkway Belt Industrial Area experienced its largest building boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this era. Around 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
