This part of the city is reasonably conducive to walking; many common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. Cycling is also easy in Downtown. The public transit system in Downtown is convenient by reason of Brampton with access to the Kitchener, and around 10 nearby bus lines. Driving is also a good means of transportation in Downtown. It is easy to park.

Services

In Downtown, families will usually be able to reach daycares and schools by walking. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.
