The neighbourhood of Credit Valley is part of the city of Brampton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Credit Valley is reasonably car friendly. It is easy to access a place to park. However, Credit Valley is not an especially convenient part of Brampton for travelling by public transit. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Brampton are located in areas that are not especially suitable for walking as meeting daily needs is at times difficult. Credit Valley is also not particularly bike-friendly because there are a fair number of hills. Nonetheless, the cycling network is reasonably well-developed.

Services

It is a rather short walk to get to daycares and schools from most properties for sale in Credit Valley. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. As far as food is concerned, some, but not all, home buyers in this part of the city will live within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.

Character

Credit Valley is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of the city is excellent for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, there are over 50 public green spaces nearby for residents to discover, including Textile Mill Valley and Andrew McCandless Park, and they are especially well-distributed, making them very easy to access.

Housing

In Credit Valley, almost all buildings are single detached homes, while townhouses make up most of the remaining housing stock. There is a higher proportion of four or more bedroom homes in this neighbourhood. Homeowners occupy nearly 175% of the dwellings in Credit Valley while the remainder are rented. The buildings in this neighbourhood are very new, since roughly 195% of its dwellings were built following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were built 1990.
