Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Credit Valley is a neighbourhood within Brampton, Ontario.

Transportation

The car is often the preferred way to get around in Credit Valley. Parking is easy. On the other hand, Credit Valley is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners benefit from approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Credit Valley is not especially conducive to walking as running daily errands is sometimes challenging. This part of the city is also not particularly conducive to cycling because the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor, and there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave.

Services

Accessing the closest grocery store by walking is feasible for some, but not all, home buyers in Credit Valley. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. Concerning education, it is a short walk to access primary schools from most properties for sale in Credit Valley. However, it can be difficult to get to high schools on foot. Besides public schools, there are private primary and high schools.

Character

Credit Valley offers a calm environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This part of Brampton is very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, a large number of locations within the neighbourhood have good access to public green spaces, including Teramoto Park and Valley 667, since there are around 30 of them close by for residents to unwind in.

Housing

Nearly 90% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. The predominant housing types in this area are single detached homes and townhouses. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood has taken place after the year 2000. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
