The neighbourhood of Wedgewood is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in Wedgewood. Parking is easy, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway from any home in this part of the municipality. However, commuting by transit can be difficult in Wedgewood by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner. The bicycle is a fairly good means of transportation in Wedgewood. Walking is not very practical for property owners in Wedgewood as running daily errands is occasionally difficult without a car.
