Sunnyside is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

People who appreciate residing in a compact community will welcome the moderately pedestrian-friendly nature of Sunnyside; running common errands is convenient without a vehicle. On the other hand, Sunnyside is not especially suited for cycling because the cycling infrastructure is not particularly well-developed, and bike riders encounter quite a few hills. Cars are a great mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are very easy to reach from anywhere in Sunnyside. In contrast, the transit in this part of the municipality is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.

Services
