This part of the municipality is particularly car friendly. It is very convenient to park. Traveling on foot is not very feasible for residents in this part of Halifax because running daily errands is nearly impossible without a vehicle. The bicycle is a quite poor mode of transportation in this part of the municipality because there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. In terms of eating, in all cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries.

Character

Spry Bay offers a slower-paced environment. Most areas in Spry Bay are quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-situated, resulting in them being rather challenging to access from the majority of locations in this part of Halifax.
